Do you find Michelle Obama an asset in the campaign?

In my humble opinion, she comes across as an angry person.

I think that she will forever be associated with, ';I am finally proud to be an American.'; Gaffes are made every day but I wonder if that will be one long remembered as affirming their relationship with Jeremiah Wright.Do you find Michelle Obama an asset in the campaign?
As I see it, here's what I see:

Here is a strong woman who has never had to guard her words before because she never held a stage as big as the one she does now.

She's not a Cindy McCain who's grown up in the spotlight.

Some people aren't going to cut her any slack. Some, though, are going to realize that his woman isn't a anti-American tyrant.Do you find Michelle Obama an asset in the campaign?
My 9 thumbs up should say something.........

Does anyone else wish that we could hear more from the candidates and less from their supporters? It seems that all the candidates are able to do any more is ';respond'; to things that their supporters say.

Maybe it's just me, but I car MUCH more about what Barack and Hillary have to say, than about what Michelle Obama, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and ANY Hollywood celebrity has to say about the election.

I can't wait until this campaign is over.
Michelle Obama is much more an asset to her husband's campaign than Bill Clinton is to Hillary's. I guarantee you that every time people watch him speak on Hillary's behalf Monica Lewinsky comes across their minds.

I notice that people are trying to down play it, but the only reason she didn't divorce him is because of her political aspirations. Once she loses to Obama I believe the divorce proceedings will make the headlines.

Yes I do find Michelle Obama to be a great asset in the campaign. Speaking strictly for myself, I wonder why is it that blacks are expected to be so patriotic to a nation which has up until at least treated them as second class citizens?
For Hillary and McCain, yes!

But having an angry black woman along for the ride will make it really difficult to convince closet racists that Barack isn't everything they feared about a black president.

If she had a Condi Rice personality, tough but proud to be an American and proud to have risen on her own hard work, he might have a chance. But, instead, what she has said and done makes us think that she's the one who encouraged Barack some 20 years ago, ';Baby, you gotta hear what this Reverend Wright is saying, he really gets it!'; And having a wife with that much influence and she essentially hates and despises white America, that will scare at least 50% of the population away from voting for him.

We'll have a black president one day. But he won't be a Democrat.
';I am finally proud to be an American'; wasn't a gaff. It was a deliberate misquote that has been repeated so many times that people don't know what she actually said. She is an intelligent, articulate woman who engenders enthusiasm when she speaks. That, in a political campaign, is an asset.
So because you saw her get excited ONCE, now she's angry too? C'mon, she has been a great asset, particularly in the past week or so. She is a strong and intelligent woman - that in itself is just too much for some people to handle. I don't see anyone complaining about Hillary's tenacity...or is it because Michelle is black? hmmmm....
She is a huge asset to McCain.Every time she opens her mouth,he gets more votes.Keep up the good work Michelle , we all want to here about your trials and tribulations of going to a College for next to nothing.Making Millions in this country that she is ashamed of,HYPOCRITE comes to mind.
She carries herself with an air of superiority and disdain for ';white America'; and I agree that she comes off as angry. She is the one who brought Obama to that church so she obviously agrees with what was and is going on there.
Obamarosa? No shes an angry bitter person who thinks ppls race determines their failures or achievments. Shes a waste of space.
You should read the woman's thesis. It tells you all you need to know.

She's NOT an asset.
She would make a fine first Lady humble, pretty, smart, articulate a fantastic asset to the white house a lot of color.
She is butt ugly. If Obama get's elected (highly doubtful) he will get caught riding dirty with Obama girl in the Black House.
No, i find Michelle to be a Hinderance. She is an angry black woman. I could not picture her as first lady. I would hate it.
If you are talking about McCain's campaign, she is an invaluable member.
I agree she seems angry. I see her as a liability.
She's a little annoying. In that interview with Meredith Viera, she kept saying ';We are doing this'; ';We...'; ';Us'; etc. And when they mentioned Rev.Wright, her horns came out!
MICHELLE OBAMA = UGLY MONKEY WOMAN
Yes. I think she is an asset to the campaign.
from what i read and see she is like having an inoperable cancer.
Yes! Oh...wait...I didn't read the ';et'; in ';Michelle Obama an asset.';

*Cough*

So, No!!!
No,but neither is Barack lately...
neither are. but i believe she hates whites more than he does
She's hot. Very Phylicia Rashad. I say she's a big asset to him. Especially for the red-blooded males in the audience.
Honestly, she is trying. I give her that much.
