Can we at least admit that there are some positives from this campaign?

It looks like there is going to be record voter turnouts for these elections. Whether we agree with who wins or not, many people are gaining an interest in politics and the future of our country that they never had before. I hope that the interest in the future of our government continues after the election, regardless of who wins.

Actually I think if the person who you voted for doesn't win, you should pay extra attention to what the other person does. If you don't trust them enough to vote for them, you gotta keep an eye on them, right? Can we at least admit that there are some positives from this campaign?
You mean thats a positive obtainable from the Bush legacy right.. then yea thats definitely a thumbs up for DubyaCan we at least admit that there are some positives from this campaign?
There are some positives. We will either have our first black President, or our first female Vice President. I think this will open some doors for future changes in elections, and may make people more accepting of third party candidates. We will either have someone who bucks the system from time to time, and speaks his mind, or someone so utterly inexperienced he might actually screw up and do some things right. Beyond that, I pretty much see the two weakest candidates for President that I can ever recall. I can only imagine the race 4 years from now!
Yes, you are right it is all how we look at it...I like many love Obama/Biden, The Clintons, the reps. who support them such as Powell...%26amp; it is good to have people who challenge things...I wish they wouldn't clutter so much but just kind of be the police to keep an eye to make sure everyone is being brought into the circle...I heard an interview this morning with a teenager who interviewed Obama %26amp; she said something about the red or blue states to him %26amp; he answered that we want to make them all purple...So I appreciate that you seeing how divine this all is %26amp; it is when we see it.
Yes, I agree. There are so many people out there who were not registered to vote or just didn't vote at all for so many years, until now! I think this was a good way to get people out there voting and speaking up for what they want.

As they say, Keep your friends close, Keep your enemies closer!
I wanted to experience some positives, but I heard this morning that there are THOUSANDS of military votes that are LOST, and unfortunately, will not be counted. What the hell is that all about anyway? The military normally goes conservative, so this sounds rather fishy to me. So, that not a positive!
I don't believe that record turnout is a positive, because the way we got here is by practically shoving people who otherwise would not have voted. If we have a lot of people voting who really are not that interested in voting...what kind of leadership are we going to get?
THERE ARE PLENTY OF POSITIVES.OBAMA-OBAMA-OBAMA!

Three reasons not to vote for McCain

1)Bush

2)Palin

3)bomb,bomb,bomb, ...bomb,bomb ..Iran
I agree with you. But people seem to become more concerned when things are going bad.

I think everyone should always be concerned and should always vote.

You are right there will be a record turn out.

I positively do not and will not trust Obama win loose or draw.

Is that positive enough?
It certainly shows how many people are tired of the direction the repubs have been going to ruin this country.
Here's a big positive. Bush will be gone, Obama will lead.

We can thank Acorn who is soley backed by Barack.
Heck yeah! The Republicans are toast!
I voted Obama.
Here's a positive: McCain's gonna lose!
yes, Obama took the high road while mcsame threw mud
If Obama wins then its answer the question can money buy you anything!! The answer will be YES!

McCain ALL THE WAY!!!! I'm Joe the plumber....I'm working hard to realize the American dream, as are millions of other people who work hard, pay taxes and dream of owning a small business or have the house of your dreams one day Barack Obama will raise taxes on hardworking Americans to give a government handout to the 40% of Americans who pay no income taxes!!!

Thanks to ';Joe the Plumber,'; voters are starting to see the clear difference between John McCain and Barack Obama on taxes. Joe's story is my story....the story of hard work and the American dream. ';Joe the Plumber'; isn't just one man in Ohio ... it's every person in America with hopes, dreams and the desire to work hard with the opportunity to succeed.

John McCain and Sarah Palin have an economic plan that celebrates the American dream of opportunity, not government giveaways. In this country, we believe in spreading opportunity, for those who need jobs and those who create them. That's why their economic plan - Jobs for America is so important for us the American people in this time of economic crisis!!!

While Barack Obama is ready to ';spread the wealth around,'; John McCain has a plan to get our economy moving so everyone has access to good jobs, a quality education and the opportunity to succeed.

John McCain and Sarah Palin don't just talk about change ... they deliver.

This election is certainly about change - there's no doubt about it, but the difference between lower taxes and the opportunity to work hard for the American dream ... or higher taxes and government giveaways with Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

You can trust John McCain and Sarah Palin because they are the real deal; reformers with a record who stand by their words and will always put their country first. Don't you want to vote for someone who puts the country first?!?! I sure do
