How fast will Obama's campaign tank if he does NOT pick Hillary as VP? I say within a week ...?

It's mid-June and I can't even find a Hillary supporter who isn't waiting to see if she will be vice president before they really commit to another candidate. That's 18 million people who voted for her, not to mention that after many states' primaries ended, the polls climbed for her in many states, higher than Obama -- even in states like North Carolina. Hillary's voters are waiting, and not patiently. How fast will Obama's campaign tank if he does NOT pick Hillary as VP? I say within a week ...?
Doesn't matter who he picks for VP. Hussein Obama's campaign is starting to remind pundits of Titanic.

He'll get the black vote, the votes of teenagers who flunked high school (if they could vote) the votes of the drooling lefties who have erections at the sound of his voice and would vote for Stalin or Castro if they could. The average American will probably be frightened to death of a Hussein Obama as commander in chief. How fast will Obama's campaign tank if he does NOT pick Hillary as VP? I say within a week ...?
It's possible but unlikely he'll pick Hillary after the bitter campaign she waged and wouldn't relent when she was beaten. That's a BIG political no-no. (You fight to the end, but when it's over, you support the victor) Also, the concern is with Hillary as VP, Bill would be looking over his shoulder.

More likely he'll pick either someone from the South or a military person or someone with power in the Senate like Kennedy did. Kennedy had little experience in politics and picked Lyndon Johnson, a very powerful Democrat leader (Since Johnson Democrats have been relatively weak) who could get Kennedy's ideas accompolished.

It's going to be interesting.
You really need to keep track of what's going on.

Clinton has already said she doesn't want the position and she is supporting him 100%.

As for one Hillary supporter who isn't waiting - well that is me - so you have found one.

As for the other 18million - if they were all undecided or pro-McCain then Obama would not be leading every poll in the field would he?

If you are a Clinton supporter why would you not follow her urging and support Obama?

As for your confessed lack of patience - you will just have to learn to be more patient. It would be unprecedented for a candidate to announce a running mate in mid June

Kerry announced Edwards in July 2004

Bush declared Cheney was his running mate in late July 2000

Gore did not announce he was running with Lieberman until August 2000.

Bob Dole also waited until August to announce his running mate.

Clinton chose Gore in early July 1992.

I don't believe you, unless you admit you live in Appalachia.

I've been reading the polls and hearing all over the news that Hillary's supporters are steadily moving over to Obama's side. I believe that the longer Obama goes on without picking a VP, the more it won't matter WHO the VP is to the Clinton supporters.
You're assuming that all of them would boot Obama just to gloat ';Hillary could'a dunnit'; afterwards?

If this happend it will simply prove that American voters are a big bunch of whinging babies.

I'd like to think they have the sense to vote for the PARTY rather the INDIVIDUAL, but then again there are people like you willing to stab someone in the back even though they represent your preferred party, just because they aren't the person you like. So.....what would've happened if Hillary was assassinated after taking office? What would you whingers do then?
Picking Hillary would upset a lot of independents. A lot of people I know would have voted for her or Obama in the general. A lot of places where people are p*ssed aren't states the Democrats would win anyway. For example, she won big in West Virginia but that state is already in the Republican column anyway.
I would assume that most women are intelligent enough to know that Obama is more for the protection of womans rights than McCain - even though McCains strategy is to flatter women he lacks substance in these issues. He is against abortion rights. He voted against programs to help women pay for mamogram exams. He voted against programs to help single mothers to provide daycare for their children..
Obama will win without the sexist woman vote. Besides, what was the point of the primary anyway if Obama just picks Hillary as vp? I don't understand why anyone believes that Obama has some sort of obligation to Hillary as a VP just because she came in second in the primaries.
i doubt that the dems or obama wants the veep candidate to go through an economic examination of the clintons finances, and an investigation of what really happened to vince foster and the mena arkansas killings and drug trafficking again, the vince foster death was swept under the rug as a suicide,
Sorry but he will look WEAK if he picks her, like he cant stand and win on his own.

Obama has such a thin resume anybody is going to make him look weak and inexperienced. For example the idea of getting a general to run with him is nuts.

my guess is he will go with Kansas female Gov. An anti-gun big Govt Pro-abort ticket.
He doesn't need Hillary to win. She would probably be a drag on the ticket anyway, to be honest. Half of her 18 mil were already onboard w/Obama even before the primaries ended. Many of the others have gotten onboard. Some won't. That's life.
With advent of McCain heading up the GOP ticket; its assuringly plausible that you are wrong. In essence Obama has to luxury of selecting whomever he pleases as his Vice President. Besides, bully style politics is a major turn off for the voters.
He's not going to pick her. The 18 million number has dwindled pretty fast, and Obama is ahead in the polls without you, so stomp your feet or hold your breath...whatever it is you do to throw a tantrum. Nobody cares anymore.
Dream on.

He would be better off picking a Bill Richardson or Chris Dodd.

Get used to saying President Obama. And liking it.
your question assumes ALL 18 million who voted for her won't vote for Obama...that is ludicrous...his campaign isn't tanking and like you said it IS ONLY mid june
It will not, he has to pick a vp he feels will work best with him, that is part of the deal making tough decisions even if it means not picking Hillary
Yup, his campaign will tank. Because more people voted for hillary in the democratic primary. OH WAIT....
I would hope she has more class than to accept if he offers her the V.P.
He wont pick Hillary as vp, because reverend wright is going to be the vp.
i know... he is running out of time.... he can't vote present on this one.......and besides he better hurry up the Golden Girls just endorsed McCain today....

NObama
I support hillary and i hope she turns him down. I don't think any ticket with him on top can win.
No. She deserves better than second place. He's on his own on this one.
I think his campaign has already tanked...he is the captain and his ship is sinking.
its gonna make it worse if he picks her. Too many people hate her.
What are they gonna do?

Pick Mccain? lol
He will never sink that low
You know what? You're being dishonest and you know it. This is what cost Hitlery the nominee because she was such a liar and very abusive. She always injected abuse, slander and lies into her campaign almost daily and the whole country could see it, and they went for Obama.

He beat her by over 300 delegates and she helped beat herself also. You get on this forum and post that lie knowing full well you're not giving it to anyone straight.

Obama WILL NOT pick Hillary as his VP and I wrote him on this personally. His response to me was that he's received many messages like mine and he was very thankful for my input. In any case, he does not need Hillary to win against the ole corrupt and bloodshed doughboy Bush regime. The country has had enough bloodshed and the bloodguilt is smeared all across America. We just don't want any abusive ';gotcha game'; politics as usual in the white house.

Obama represents CHANGE while Hillary is not condusive to that. Didn't you see her very poor conduct from start to finish in this campaign? As she continued to lose, her behavior became more and more outrageous, out of control and psychopathic. She even began to say Obama could not get the ';lower class, working white votes'; in an effort to again dump on Obama.

She even said ';McShame and I have a lifetime of experience we bring to the white house and Obama has a speech he gave back in 2002';. She slammed her own democratic party when she did that --- AND MORE! She was routing for the repubs! Weren't you paying attention?

Would you pick that sort of slanderous beast trash as your VP--- to bring forth CHANGE and do away with ole corrupt abusive politics as usual in the white house --- to bring much needed healing to America and to our people? She cannot be trusted and is aggravating, an annoyance and is most UNSTABLE. I cannot believe you weren't paying close attention. Don't come at us sensible Americans with your Hillary threats! They didn't work while she was running and they damn sure aren't going to work with her OUT!

HELLLLL NO! She will not be his VP so you can stop posting threats and slander-- now, not within a week.

And now... Obama/Richardson or Obama/?? for 2009!
I don't think he's got a snowballs chance without her. Then again, if he picks her, there will be a huge crowd of McCain supporters added.
It will sink like a rock if he doesn't pick Hillary.
it don't matter even if she is his VP he's tanked anways
