Have there been any issues that have received too much attention in this presidential campaign?

What issues, if any, were blown out of proportion?

Thanks.Have there been any issues that have received too much attention in this presidential campaign?
Sarah Palin's wardrobe. After all the whining from the opposition about

';sticking to the issues';, this becomes a so-called issue. Have you ever noticed the only time there have been ';issues'; that had to be refocoused on, it's to avoid answering to any accusations from the other side? Interesting, the issues only matter when he says so.Have there been any issues that have received too much attention in this presidential campaign?
I don't think there really has been much attention paid to the issues except McCains age and association with Bush and Obama's inexperience and association with terrorist. I would like to have heard what each thinks about the illegal situation, drugs, why they both voted for the BAILOUT when 80% of the people were against it. I am tired of not being able to pin these people down on issues. WE Vote for candidates and we really don't know how they stand on issues.
Actually issues really haven't been discussed that much to be blown out of proportion. All I've been hearing about is smears and conspiracies, neither of which tells me about my future taxes, how far my dollar will go, etc.
It's too bad there are so few actual issues discussed. I tired of hearing ';he is a socialist';, he is a ';Muslim,'; she spent $150,000 on her wardrobe. Can we please talk about real issues?
Joe the Plumber, the Muslim angle, early vote canvassing, Wasilla.
Tina Fey as Sarah Palin-BORING! Besides every campaign someone does a bang up job as a candidate-
