I think your saying McCain doesn't have a chance. Remember the Dems are great at losing elections that should be a given. Any normal non radical candidate would have no problem beating the Repubicans but the Dems are putting forth a radical racist black seperatist with no significant accomplishments and a lot of controversial connections and events. It will be close. Over half the country says Obama has no experience. Half the country does't believe Obama.
What ';atmosphere'; are you talking about? The media are merely quoting various independent polls that come out on a daily basis. Admittedly, a lot of the media are biased, and they can pick and choose which polls to quote, but everyone is free to look up the polling data himself on the Internet. The media have a lot less influence over people than they used to.
it is there job to drag this out as long as they can

People are very upset about the economy and that favors the Democrats but there is still a lot of racism in this country. I don't think that the media is involved in any manipulation. I think the numbers are as close as the polls represent.
I think so, but I don't mind, closer races are more interesting.
