So far nothing but attack, attack, attack. Is the reason he's not running any ads on his actual positions because he's flip-flopped on most of them? Since his campaign in 2000, he's not even the same person.Will John McCain be running any positive campaign ads?
Yes I've seen negative Obama adds even though I'm not Alicia. And why does he need to run positive adds when Obama gives him so much fodder for running add showing how empty Obama is.





Have you seen one definition for what change means? Is ';Hope'; somehing physical that you can put your arms around? Has Obama actually defined himself? No. So McCain is left with defining who he is or isn't. He isn't anything substantial and he is an empty suit with no proposals other than inflating tires.





For all you guys complaining that ';McCain'; has changed for the election, doesn't that mean as soon as the elections is over he'll go right back to being a Democrat again? So what's your complaint? He'll give all you liberals what you want if elected anyway!

I haven't heard a positive word out of his mouth and his jokes are absolutely disgusting imagine a president joking about bombing Iran? and obamas been all sunshine and roses right? i mean when he called hill an annie oakley then that wasn't negative right? that was the most positive thing people could say. obama should stop letting other people fight his battles for him cnn, nbc are both dripping poison to any opponent of obamas and now hes letting biden fight his battles for him. obama should start being a man stop letting everybody else go negative for him and stop misrepresenting himself. i don't like mccain im for hill but this whole double standard where obams concerned pi***sses me off.
You're right. McCain was the 'maverick' in 2000, with his own ideas and his own agenda. The party leaders didn't want that so they smeared him. McCain decided to come back and be a 'team player', so now he supports the Party Agenda, even though he had to flip-flop on all his main position points to do that.





So now McCain has to back all the failed policies of the Bush administration, because those are the party policies. He has to pretend he thinks Bush is doing a great job and everything is just swell. No wonder he seems out of touch!





But he can't win by constantly promising to keep the war going, to give more tax breaks to the rich, and to keep building up bigger and bigger debt. So all he can do is attack Obama. Besides, that's what the Republicans do best anyway--all of their presidential campaigns are mostly negative.





And I have to say it's really kind of a shame. You almost have to feel sorry for McCain. I had respect for him once. If he was running as an independent with his own ideas, I might even have voted for him.
Personally, I've seen one (count 'em ONE) pro-McCain ad and 4 pro-Obama ads. (Honestly, with DVR, I don't watch many commercials). One the flip side of that I've seen 4 anti-Obama ads and 1 anti-McCain ad.





But you use what you have to get what you want.

Doubtful, he said he wants to run a campaign based on the issues but he was lying just like Bush does. They never think there is a ned to tell the truth unless it is advantageous to do so. The ad showing Joe Biden dismissing Obama as too inexperienced to be president and all but endorsing McCain as ';better for the country'; is very POSITIVE.





A negative ad or comment is one that presents a lie or is deceptive. Obama said, ';McCain wants to stay in Iraq for 100 years.'; That was a bald-faced lie. When he said ';I feel'; the Republicans will play the race card when he was already playing it, is deceptive. The Republicans have not played the race card. Obama has been the one doing that.





McCain is very much the same person. When time and circumstances change, intelligent people change with them. When polls change, opportunistic people change with them. And that is EXACTLY what Obama has been doing.
